On 17 May B.E. 2562 (2019) Mr. Supachai Verapuchong and Mr. Samarn Sudto, Advisors of The WFB who represented The WFB Headquarters, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane, President of the Standing Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction, for reviving relationship between Laos and The WFB.  Laos was one of the countries that co-founded The WFB, however, some changes had caused each other lost of contact.   We hope that Laos will retrieve its membership as Regional Centre of The WFB once again.  They also convey a congratulatory letter from H.E. Phan Wannamethee, President of The WFB, to Laos on organizing Visakha Puja Day of which both Advisors and group of Thai people also participated at the event.

On the same occasion His Holiness Mahangon Damrongboun, President of  Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organization, had granted an opportunity to Mr. Supachai and Mr. Samarn, who represented The WFB, conveyed the message from President of The WFB which cordially invited the Patriarch of Laos to be patron of The WFB stipulated in Constitution of The WFB since its inception.
