PLAJA visited The WFB Headquarters

On 5 November B.E. 2562 (2019) Mr. Hiromichi Kanke, Board Chairman, and Mr. Hajime Ohuno, Vice Chairman, of PLAJA visited The WFB Headquarters to discuss about the Memorial Service and Merit Making for dedication to the victims of tsunami happened since B.E. 2547 (2004) in Thailand.  They were welcomed by Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, Secretary-General, and Rear Admiral Isara Yimpanich, Assistant Secretary-General, of The WFB.

PLAJA which is a Non-Profit Organization assisting foreigners who resides in Thailand for a long period.  This time PLAJA is the main organizer and in co-operation with Japan Buddhist Federation (JBF), Nichiren Shu (Buddhist Denomination under JBF), and The WFB to hold the Memorial Service on 5 November B.E. 2562 (2019) in Phuket, Thailand.  The Memorial Service is held in conjunction with the World Tsunami Awareness Day that falls on every 5 November of the year.  PLAJA held this kind of ceremony every year since tsunami happened in Thailand and this will be the final memorial which to be held on 5 November B.E. 2562 (2019) in Phuket, Thailand.
