Centenary Anniversary Celebration of All Ceylon Buddhist Congress

On 21 December B.E. 2562 (2019) All Ceylon Buddhist Congress (ACBC), a prominent Regional Centre and co-founder of The WFB, celebrated its Centenary Anniversary in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  ACBC was established with the hope to unite all Buddhists in Sri Lanka under one umbrella organization.  Today ACBC is a strong and steadfast Buddhist organization of Sri Lanka flourished by endurance and determination of its presidents from the past until the present one, executives and all members.   ACBC contributes so much for the development of Buddhism and also widen its activities in socio-economic development, charitable, social welfare, and cultural affairs for Buddhists and non-Buddhists of Sri Lanka as well.

In this regard, H.E. Phan Wannamethee, President of The WFB, had assigned Dr. Thakur Phanit, Advisor of The WFB Headquarters, represented himself attending the celebration.  Moreover, Vice-Presidents, Executive Council Members, Chairperson of Standing Committees, and Secretary-General of The WFB also participated at the meaningful event.
