Merit Making Ceremony in Commemoration and Honor of the 116th Birth Anniversary of the Late Prof. Sanya Dharmasakti

On 3 April B.E. 2566 (2023) Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The
WFB, and Headquarters hold the merit making ceremony in commemoration
and honor of the 116th birth anniversary of the late Prof. Sanya
Dharmasakti, the fourth President of The WFB, at the Headquarters of
The WFB. In this regard, Prof. Vicha Mahakun, Advisor to The WFB,
also delivered a special speech on this occasion.
Prof. Sanya Dharmasakti, was well known for devoting himself to
Buddhist activities. He was also one of the co-founders of the
Buddhist Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, and served as
President of The WFB for 13 years, from B.E. 2528-2541 (1985-1998).
