The WFB organizes the auspicious celebration

On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle (72 years) Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024, the World Fellowship of Buddhists (The WFB) has organized a merit-making ceremony and extend cordial blessings on 27th July B.E. 2567 (2024) at the Sanya Dharmasakti Auditorium, The WFB Headquarters.
In this regard, The WFB invites Most Ven. Phra Brahmavajirodom (Suthat), the 10th Region Sangha Governor and Abbot of Wat Molilokayaram, to deliver a sermon on “Pali Studying under the Royal Patronage” at 09.45 hrs. Additionally, 82 monks are also invited to chant Buddhist stanzas. This merit-making was to express gratitude to His Majesty the King’s patronage of all faiths. His Majesty is a benevolent Buddhist and the virtuous king.
On 26th January B.E. 2567 (2024), His Majesty the King granted the Dhammanava, one of the Buddha’s teachings on practices of liberation from sufferings to members of Thai Supreme Sangha Council and all temples nationwide for the New Year occasion. This teaching includes guidelines for recalling the Triple Gem and the Four Noble Truths while practicing walking meditation.
Recently, His Majesty the King graciously granted illustration for the teachings of Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta on Asarnhabucha Day 20th July B.E. 2567 (2024), with the important narration of “Whatever happens is natural, it will naturally disappear.”
