On 26th July B.E. 2567 (2024) Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The WFB, welcomed Dr. Efendi Hansen, representing the Mahayana Buddhist Pureland Indonesia, to apply for The WFB membership.  They also discussed the state of Buddhism in Indonesia, with The WFB expressing the hope to expand their network and collaborate on the propagation of Buddhism soon.
