On 26 August B.E. 2567 (2024) Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General, Admiral Jeerapat Panskun, RATN Isara Yimpanich, and Ms. Naruechol Bovornphibul, the Board of Trustees of The WFB, along with Mr. Idanont Thaiarry, Secretary-General of WFBY, had paid homage to Most Venerable Somdet Phra Mahathirachan (Pasarit Khemangkaro), Abbot of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkalaram Ratchaworamahavihan, Member of the Thai Supreme Sangha, and Supreme Advisor of The WFB, for the auspicious occasion which His Majesty the King of Thailand has kindly designated the most venerable as the Head Monk of the Northern Sangha Administrative Region.  The event took place at the Residential Building of the 17th His Holiness Supreme Patriarch (Pun Punnasirimahathera), Sangha Auditorium of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkalaram Ratchaworamahavihan.
