On 2nd March B.E. 2568 (2025) Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The WFB, entrusted Mrs. Kanchana Soonsawad, Vice-President, to represent The WFB to participate at the Inauguration Ceremony of Archbishop Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana as the Archbishop of Bangkok.  The event was held at the Assumption Cathedral in Bangrak District, Bangkok, Thailand.  He has been the Director of the Diocesan Catechetical centre, Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for Catechesis, and Dean of the Catechetical Faculty.  On the same occasion, Most Ven. Somdet Phra Mahathirachan, a member of the Thai Supreme Sangha Council, Abbot of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklaram, and Supreme Advisor of The WFB had delivered a congratulatory message on behalf of the Thai Sangha.
