WFB and Wat Dhammamongkol Conduct Merit-Making Ceremony for Her Majesty The Queen Mother
On 7 November B.E. 2568 (2025),
On 7 November B.E. 2568 (2025), the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB), in collaboration with Wat Dhammamongkol, Luang Phor Viriyang Sirindharo Foundation, The Willpower Institute, and the Department of Religious Affairs, organized a Merit-Making Ceremony on the 15th Day (Panrasamavara) in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Ubosot of Wat Dhammamongkol Thaobunnonwiharn, Royal Monastery.
The ceremony featured chanting of Buddhist scriptures, a Dhamma sermon, and the recitation of Abhidhamma, performed as a tribute to Her Majesty and in remembrance of Her boundless grace and compassion.
Distinguished participants included Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of the WFB; Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General; Mrs. Sawanee Chuensumran, Deputy Secretary-General; Admiral Jirapat Pansakul; Ms. Naruchon Bawonpiboon; and Rear Admiral Issara Yimpanich, Executive Council Members; together with Mr. Pojanart Panyasilp, Director of the Division of Religious Patronage, Department of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Culture.
The ceremony was conducted in a solemn and peaceful atmosphere, filled with reverence and heartfelt gratitude toward Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
