Children and Teenagers Winter Camp organized by The WFB Standing Committee on Dhammaduta Activities

Ven. Ming Kuang, Executive Council Member and Chairperson of Standing Committee on Dhammaduta Activities of The WFB organized a Children and Teenagers Winter Camp in Lumbini, Nepal under the theme “The Buddha’s Compassion and Wisdom.” The camp brought together over 150 children and youth aged 7-15 years old from schools in Lumbini area, providing them with a meaningful and enriching learning experience.
The success of the program was made possible through the excellent collaboration and generous support of many dedicated individuals, including Mr. Padma Jyoti, Vice-President of The WFB, Mrs. Meera Jyoti, Chairperson of Standing Committee on Women of The WFB; Mr. Asha Ratna Shakya and Mr. Sanam Shakya, from the Young Men’s Buddhist Association of Nepal; Mr. Kiran Shakya; and Mr. Rajesh Shakya, Board Member of the Lumbini Development Trust.
Throughout the camp, the children and teenagers learned about and personally experienced core Buddhist teachings, with special emphasis on mindfulness, compassion, discipline and wisdom. The program offered a nurturing environment that supported their moral, spiritual and personal development, leaving a positive and lasting impression on all participants.
