Interfaith Dialogue for a Harmonious Society

Mrs. Sawanee Chuensumran, The WFB Deputy Secretary-General, attended the “Interfaith Dialogue” hosted by the Department of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Thailand at the historic Haroon Mosque, in Bangrak District, Bangkok.
The event commenced with opening remarks from Mr. Chaiyapol Suk-iam, Director-General of the Department of Religious Affairs. He emphasized that fostering robust interreligious relations is a cornerstone for building a harmonious, inclusive, and resilient multicultural society.
The event was organized through a collaboration effort with Assumption Cathedral and various partner organizations. The dialogue highlighted the enduring spirit of peaceful coexistence in Thailand. The gathering served as a powerful testament to how mutual respect and cross cultural understanding serve as vital catalysts for a sustainable and unified nation.
