On 7th May B.E. 2569 (2026), Mrs. Sawanee Chuensumran, Deputy Secretary-General of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (The WFB), attended the celebration marking the first anniversary of the pontificate of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church.
The event, hosted by Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Peter B. Wells at the Holy Redeemer Hall, Ruamruedi in Bangkok, brought together representatives from diverse faith communities across Thailand.
The gathering highlighted a shared commitment to interfaith harmony and strengthened the longstanding relationships between the country's religious institutions.
