On 17 May B.E. 2566 (2023) Venerable Shi Mingsheng, President of Guangdong Buddhist Association and Member of the National People’s Congress of China leaded the clergy group from Guang Xiao Shi Temple and Young Fu Shi temple visited The WFB Headquarters.  T hey were welcomed by Mr. Phallop Thaiarry (President), Mr. Montian Thananart (Secretary-General), along with The WFB executives, Admiral Jeerapat Pansakun, Radm. Isara Yimphanich (Board of Trustees), Mrs. Sawanee Chuensumran (Deputy Secretary-General), Ms. Naruechol Bovornphibul (Luang-poh Viriyoung Sirintharo Foundation), and Mr. Idanont Thaiarry (WFBY Secretary-General).  This association has a long relationship and cooperation with The WFB.  This time his venerable invite Mr. Phallop, Mr. Montian, and other board members to the Buddhist meeting of Hong Kong-Macau-Guangzhou to be held from 20-23 November this year.  Moreover, the Buddhist committee from Guangdong will visit Laos, Thailand, and Sri Lanka in the coming December for cooperation on Buddhism which one belt one road policy will be put into cooperation and development of religion.
