The Buddhist Union, the Regional Centre of The WFB in Singapore, and the World Fellowship of Buddhists (The WFB) will organize the International Buddhist Forum via ZOOM webinar on “Wisdom of The Buddha: The Path to Happiness”
9 June B.E. 2549 (2006)
Wat Nawamintararachutis was built in honor of the Late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) of Thailand in order to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of his coronation on 9 June B.E. 2549 (2006) and His Majesty’s 80th Birth Anniversary on 5 December B.E. 2550 (2007).   The temple was built by the initiation of Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan, who is a member of Thai Sangha Council, and President of Dhammaduta of Thailand, and the Abbot of Wat Yannawa in Bangkok, Thailand.  He is known for spreading Dharma activities to America.  In addition, he is the only clergy who is the Advisor of The WFB.
30 November – 2 December B.E. 2563 (2020)
From 30 November – 2 December B.E. 2563 (2020), the Buddhist Association of China had held the 10th National Representative Conference.  The Buddhist Association of China (BAC) was established in Beijing since B.E. 2496 (1953).  It is not only the sole Regional Centre in People’s Republic of China , but it is also one of the co-founder of The WFB.  Other than the center of all schools of Buddhism in China, cultivate Buddhist education, carry out Buddhist culture and art exchange activities, enhace academic researches, it also carry out social welfare and charity mission for benefit of society and people.  From this conference, the 10th council was established and the 10th President of BAC, Most Venerable Yan Jue, was elected.
21 December B.E. 2562 (2019)
All Ceylon Buddhist Congress (ACBC), a prominent Regional Centre and co-founder of The WFB, celebrated its Centenary Anniversary in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  ACBC was established with the hope to unite all Buddhists in Sri Lanka under one umbrella organization.
30 June B.E.2562 (2019)
On 30 June B.E.2562 (2019) Ven. Boeb Ahn, President of An Sim Jeong Sa (a Regional Centre of The WFB in South Korea), organized the Ceremony of Opening Eyes of Guardian Boddhisattva at its temple in Non San City, South Korea.  Ven. Fra Shakyavongsvisuddhi (Anil Man Sakya), Rector of the World Buddhist University, represented The WFB participated at the ceremony.
16-18 November B.E. 2561
Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia (BMSM), which is a Regional Centre of The WFB in Malaysia, co-organized the Metta Convention 2018 with Aloka Foundation and Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) from 16-18 November B.E. 2561 (2018) in Malaysia.
5-9 November B.E. 2561 (2018)
During 5-9 November B.E. 2561 (2018), The WFB had organized the 29th General Conference in Narita and Yokohama, Japan along with its subordinate organs’ conference and meeting -the 20th WFBY General Conference and the 11th WBU Council Meeting.  The host of this conferences and meeting is Japan Buddhist Federation (JBF) and it is the fourth time that The WFB General Conference was held in Japan.

The 45th Anniversary of Nippon-ji Temple, a Japanese temple in Bodhgaya, was celebrated on 24 November B.E. 2561 (2018).
