The Auspicious Day of The WFB

On 24 June B.E. 2566 (2023) His Majesty King Narodom Sihamoni granted an audience to The WFB executives at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, led by Most Ven. Somdet Phramahathirachan, Supreme Advisor, Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President, Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General, of The WFB and two senior venerables, Most Ven. Chiko Iwagami, the 32nd Chairman of the Board of the Japan Buddhist Federation, and Most Ven. Seok Boeb Ahn, a Council Member of the WBU and President of An Sim Jeong Sa, South Korea on the auspicious day of the royal conferment of The WFB Honorary title of “Royal Patron” cordially bestowed upon His Majesty.  We sincerely thanked H.E. Ms. Khuon Sudary, President of Asian Cultural Council, Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Yara Suous, Chairman of the Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Information, and Media of the National Assembly of Cambodia, and Mr. Noritada Morita, Advisor of The WFB, who had contributed to a successful outcome for restoring the relationship with Cambodia. 
This ceremony is in consequence of the conferment ceremony of The WFB Honorary titles conferred to H.E. Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen as “Patron”, and H.E. Dr. Hun Manet as “Senior Advisor”, that was held in Phom Penh, Cambodia on 2 May B.E. 2566 (2023).
