President of The WFB paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Thailand

Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The WFB, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Arman Issetov,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom
of Thailand, on 6 Sep. B.E. 2566 (2023) at the Embassy in Bangkok. During the meeting,
they discussed the participation in the XXI Meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of
Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, scheduled for 11 Oct. B.E 2566 (2023) in Astana,
Kazakhstan.
This year, President Thaiarry designated Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General of The
WFB, to represent The WFB at the Meeting. The Congress serves as an esteemed
interreligious platform for fostering global peace through dialogue among different faiths,
and it has earned international acclaim and admiration. The WFB has been a longstanding
participant in this Congress, representing Buddhism on this global stage for many years.
