Academic Seminar on International Pariyatti at Wat Chakdaeng

Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (The WFB) and Rector of the World Buddhist University (WBU), made a generous donation to Most Ven. Phraratwatchara Pandit, the Abbot of Wat Chak Daeng, for supporting the organizing of the "Academic Seminar on the Study of the International Pariyatti (Theoretical Teachings of the Budda)" This contribution was a heartfelt tribute and gratitude to His Majesty the King on the occasion of the commemoration of the King Rama IX, also known as Nawaminthramaharat Day, held from 13-15 October B.E. 2566 (2023) at Wat Chak Daeng, Samutprakarn Province.  In this regard, Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General of The WFB, and Mrs. Kingkarn Arakphutthinant, President of On the Path of The Buddha (a reginal centre of The WFB in Thailand), also participated as well.
The objective of the seminar was to exchange knowledge of the study process, methodology, and experiences of monks who are expert in Tripitaka that will lead to educational development for the ultimate effectiveness of propagation Buddhism.  Moreover, it also developed networking of cooperation for educational development on Pariyatti.  The seminar held in hybrid platform – on site and via webinar.
Distinguished monks from Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Thailand participated and shared experiences at the seminar which Most Ven. Phraratwatchara Pandit (Pranom Dharmalankaro), the Abbot acted as translator.
