On 6 December B.E. 2566 (2023) The World Fellowship of Buddhists formalized a strategic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NetDragon Websoft (Hong Kong) Limited.  The objective of this partnership is to jointly develop and establish a global digital Buddhism platform utilizing advanced digital tools.  The primary focus is to enhance the propagation of Buddhism and amplify the outreach of The WFB and its regional centres.  This collaboration represents a significant milestone, marking a comprehensive upgrade to The WFB’s digital infrastructure.  The overarching goal is to engage with a broader audience, particularly targeting the younger generation. 
The MOU signing ceremony included representatives from NetDragon Websoft Inc.: Mr. Mi Xiong (CEO of Digital Religion Department of NetDragon Websoft Inc.), their two Directors of Digital Religion Department - Ms. Xie Wei and Mr. Kong Qiaojie.  On behalf of The WFB, attendees included Mr. Phallop Thaiarry (President), Mr. Montian Thananart (Secretary-General), and Mr. Kongkar Tipkeeree (Treasurer).  This collaboration signifies a shared commitment to advancing the digital presence of Buddhism and fostering greater connectivity across diverse communities.
