Japanese reverends visited The WFB HQ

Rev. Ikuko Hibino (Advisor of The WFB and Abbot of Kayadera Temple in Japan) led the group of Buddhist reverends from various denominations in Japan visited The WFB Headquarters since 9 December B.E. 2566 (2023) after returning from participating in the inauguration of the Institute of Buddhist and Oriental Studies Research Library, which was founded by the International Buddhist Brotherhood Association (Japanese temple) in Bodhgaya, India.

The International Buddhist Brotherhood Association (IBBA) established since B.E. 2516 (1973) providing educational service, nursing care, meals and other necessities to children aged 3-5 years.  Later in B.E. 2527 (1984) All Japan Buddhist Women Association established Komyo Free Medical Centre in collaboration and supplementing the existing free medical service of IBBA.  In a continued commitment to welfare services, IBBA, as the owing body of Indosan Nipponji, has extended its contributions to social welfare by establishing the Institute  of Buddhist and Oriental Studies Research Library, it certainly fosters learning, promotes education, shaping new ideas and perspectives, that contributes to the development of a creative and innovative society.
