On 1 August B.E. 2562 (2019) Mr. Supachai Verapuchong and Mr. Samarn Sudto, Advisors of The WFB who represented The WFB Headquarters, had met with Dr. Khin Shwe, Chairman of the Federation of All Myanmar Theravada Buddhists and the Sasana Nuggaha Association for Border Regions from Republic of the Union of Myanmar, in Bangkok to revive relationship between Myanmar and The WFB.  Myanmar was one of prominent countries that mutually established The WFB and hold membership since the inception.  Due to some changes happened in Myanmar, communication and contact was lost.  Hopefully, Dr. Khin Shwe will be of some assistance to retrieve Regional Centre of The WFB in Myanmar.
