Merit Making Ceremony in Commemoration and Dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great

On 5 December B.E. 2563 (2020) H.E. Phan Wannamethee, President of The WFB, and the Headquarters of The WFB organized the Merit Making Ceremony in Commemoration and Dedication to H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, who was the Patron of The WFB, at The WFB Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. 

There were alms offerings to 69 monks in tribute to His Majesty’s kindness towards all Buddhists and non-Buddhists.  There were also 2 Dharma lectures by Venerable Fra Devashakyavamshapandita (Anil Man Sakya), Rector of the World Buddhist University (WBU), Assistant Abbot of Wat Bavornnives Vihara, on “Ten Royal Virtues of King”, and Venerable Phra Mahasuphol Sujinno, Abbot of Wat Bhodi Than-phra in Roi-et Province and Administrative Member of the Tripitaka Educational Board of Nissa-sorana-dharma-sueksa Institution at Ang-thong Meditation Centre, on “The Story of Mahajanaka”.   Moreover, Mr. Somchai Chatry, President of Thai-Nepali Association (Thailand) and its members also participated at the ceremony.
