On 13 November B.E. 2566 (2023), Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The WFB, assigned Rev. Ikuko Hibino (Advisor of The WFB), and Rev. Ryosho Shoji (Deputy Secretary-General and Chairperson of Humanitarian Assistance of The WFB), including two executives of The WFB@UNESCO, Mr. Jun-An Bill Chen and Mr. Ny Toky Andriamanjato attended the 42nd session of UNESCO General Conference in Paris, France.  The conference brought attention to the oceans, particularly in light of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) and calls for UNESCO to broaden its ocean work in support of sustainable ocean management.  In this regard, Mr. Andriamanjato delivered a speech of good deed on behalf of President and The WFB Headquarters.
