Headquarters

On the auspicious occasion of the new year, The WFB convened the Annual Merit-Making Ceremony and celebrated the 101st Gracious Age of H.E. Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Honorary President of The WFB.  The event took place at its Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand on 27th January B.E. 2567 (2024).  During this auspicious gathering, His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatanana, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, graciously sent a speech of good deeds and blessed the Honorary President with holy water.  Representing His Holiness, Most Venerable Somdet Phra Mahathirachan, a member of the Supreme Sangha Council of Thailand and Abbot of Wat Phrachetuphon Vimonmangklaram conveyed the message on behalf of His Holiness.

A lot of well-wishers, including both clergy and laity, along with representatives from various networking organizations, gathered to participate in this significant occasion.  Moreover, Prof. Dr. Noranit Setabutr, former Chairman of Council of WBU, delivered a special speech in honor of the celebration.
