Chairman of Shingon Buzan-ha Youth Association paid a courtesy visit to The WFB Headquarters

Rev. Shumyo Kimura, Chairman of Shingon Buzan-ha Youth Association in Japan, along with Rev. Hakuga Murayama, President of WFBY led a delegation of 14 members on a visit to The WFB Headquarters on 27 Feb. B.E. 2567 (2024).  During their visit, they had the honor of paying a courtesy visit to Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of The WFB, and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Montian Thananart, Secretary-General, and Mr. Idanont Thaiarry, Secretary General of WFBY.  Rev. Kimura presented a wooden Bodhisattava image to Mr. Phallop as a gesture of goodwill.
The Shingon Buzan-ha Youth sect comprises of approximately 3,000 affiliated temples across Japan, with its head temple located in Nara Prefecture.  Moreover, Hase Temple in Hatsuse is home to an enshrinement of over 10-metre-tall wooden statue of the eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, designated as a national important cultural artefact of Japan and revered as the center of Kannon worship.  In addition to their spiritual endeavors, the Shingon Buzan-ha sect is actively involved in providing support to communities affected by natural disasters.  During this visit, they also pay a visit to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahavihan in Bangkok, continuing their mission of goodwill.
