Higher Ecclesiastical Rank Granted to Most Ven. Dhammashkyavamshavisuddhi (Anil Sakya) and Most Ven. Ajahn Jayasaro

13th May B.E. 2567 (2027)
The Royal Thai Gazette announced on 13th May B.E. 2567 (2027) that His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua had established the establishment of clerical honors to two distinguished monks in recognition of their significant contributions to Buddhism.

1) Most Ven. Dhammashkyavamshavisuddhi (Anil Sakya) has been granted a higher ecclesiastical rank to Most Ven. Phra Bhramashakyavamshavisuddhi.  He currently serves as Thai Sangha Governor of Regions 6-7, Assistant Abbot of Wat Bavornniwet Vihara and Advisor of the World Buddhist University (WBU).

2) Most Ven. Phra Dhammapatcharayanmuni (Ven. Ajahn Jayasaro) has also received a higher ecclesiastical rank as Most Ven. Phra Bhramapatcharayanmuni.  Previously, he was the Abbot of Wat Pah Nanachat, he now resides in a hermitage in Nakorn Ratchasima Province, Thailand.   
Both priests have diligently disseminated the teachings of Buddha through various media and communication platform, reaching wider audiences and increasing awareness among diverse groups of people.
