Most Venerable Somdet Phra Mahathirachan visited Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus in Swiss Confederation

On 29th June B.E. 2567 (2024) at 15.00 hrs. Swiss Confederation time, Most Venerable Somdet Phra Mahathirachan, a Member of the Thai Supreme Sangha Council, Abbot of Wat Phra Chetupholvimol Mangkhlaram, President of the Regulatory Office for Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus, visited the Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus to provide moral support. He recommended integrating Sangha work, religious development, religious activities, religious personnel, and religious objects to create, develop, maintain, and support faith within the Buddhist community.
Most Venerable Somdet was welcomed by Venerable Phra Khru Bhavanaviriyakij V., the Abbot of Wat Dhammakaya Swisszerland, and Venerable Phra Khru Vinayathannop Chotilabho, the Abbot of Wat Dhammakaya London, England, along with other overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus, and laities. There are currently three Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus performing duties.
During his visit, Most Venerable Somdet kindly affixed his name on the plaque enshrined at the ceremony of burying the Luk Nimit (an round-shaped stone object that marks the boundary of the temple) for the inauguration of ubosot Wat Dhammakaya London, held at Wat Dhammakaya Switzerland in Bern, Swiss Confederation.
