The book provides a history of WFB from the beginning, explains how the Organization was established by a group of distinguished Buddhist scholars from different countries.  The text includes aims and objectives of WFB as well as the biographies of the past Presidents : Dr. G. P. Malalasekera from Sri Lanka, Hon. U. Chan Htoon from Burma, HSH Princess Poon Pismai Diskul, Thailand and Prof. Sanya Dharmasakti, from Thailand.  Pictures of events from the 1st WFB General Conference to the 19th General Conference were recorded in this book.

WFB Books Series No. 45.  The text provides Buddhist teaching related to human beings, explains how religion makes human being be a man.  Religion gives a an a sense of shame, guilt, and other developed collectively called "conscience". Explains also the relationship of body and mind and the result of what we are doing or Karma.

เอกสารชุด พ.ส.ล. อันดับที่ 42   หนังสือนี้ต้นฉบับเดิมเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ผู้ประพันธ์คือ ดร. ดักลาส เอ็ม เบินส์ ชาวอเมริกัน จุดประสงค์เดิมเพื่อเผยแผ่พระธรรมแก่อาคันตุกะผู้เดินทางเข้ามาประเทศไทย เพราะว่าพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นศาสนาประจำชาติไทย พิมพ์ครั้งแรก ๕๐,๐๐๐ เล่ม มอบถวายวัดและแจกตามโรงแรม ส่งไปให้สถานทูตไทยและให้นักเรียนไทยในต่างประเทศ ต่อมาทางองค์การ พ.ส.ล. เห็นว่าหนังสือนี้น่าจะมีประโยชน์ยิ่งในการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาจึงมีดำริให้อาจารย์ศิริพุทธศุกร์ดำเนินการแปลเป็นภาษาไทย

หนังสือนี้ผู้แต่งทรงประพันธ์ขึ้นมาโดยมีจุดประสงค์ที่จะสอนธรรมะแก่เด็กและเยาวชน เนื้อหาเป็นหลักของพระพุทธศาสนาเบื้องต้น สอนให้เด็กเคารพในพระพุทธ พระธรรม พระสงฆ์ ปฏิบัติตามศีลห้า มีความเคารพในบุพการี ครูบาอาจารย์ ระลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระมหากษัตริย์และรักประเทศชาติ
